Established in Montreal in 2008, Japosat Satellite Mapping provides services in satellite mapping, management and integration of exploration databases, and 2D and 3D modelling mineral exploration data using GIS technology. Japosat provides also services in GIS implantation, transfer and training.

Our principal product comes from processing, interpretation and analyse of satellite data and other data related to mineral exploration. Japosat uses in-house advanced technology for processing and analyse of satellite data and 3D multisource « top-down » interpretation methods to map and target zones of interest for mineral exploration.

The thematic maps designed by our experts for use by mineral exploration industry comprise:

· Lineament maps: faults, folds, contacts, regional foliation, fractures and density, structural traps

· Alteration maps

· Lithological maps

· Maps of historical and actual drainages, collecting basins and sources of geochemical anomalies

· Mineral exploration target maps

· Compilation maps

· Satellite maps at 5K to 250K scale
